If there are two things I believe when dressing little boys they are 1/. colours shouldn't be boring and 2/. footwear is a boys best accessory. Boys can wear any colour, polka-dots, heck even floral if they suit it~ most boys have the sparky personalities to pull of a bit of brightness in their days, so why stick to denim blue and brown like most childrens-wear retailers tend to?
And as for shoes ~ I find it really hard to find awesome boys footwear. Everything cool seems to be reserved for the girls, which I find incredibly frustrating. So I took it upon myself to paint a pair of (girls!) shoes each as part of the boys Christmas presents and will keep doing so as they grow. Another thing :: Roman sandals are not just for uniforms (thank you Mrs. shoe shop sales lady!!). They're practical and look super cute in the smaller sizes, not to mention hard wearing for pretty cheap. And Finley loves his to pieces, which is a bonus!

Man this kid has some brown legs! Some of us should be so lucky huh? ;o)
Archer :: tee, handmade by me. shorts, t&t (rolled up for Mr. short legs!). shoes, Kmart, painted by me.
Finley :: tee, Kmart. shorts, t&t. sandals, no.1 shoes. scrunchy face, apparently you start to do this a whole lot more when you turn 4...

Danny put on Jada's white shoes like that today (with blue shoelaces) and i must say the idea occurred to me too!! i think it's a genius idea~

Gorgeous boys! Love those polka dots. We're all girl in our house so this is a nice change.
