a new skirt

What do you do when an Oppy provides a beautiful dress, 2 sizes too big, with busted bodice seams??

Rescue half of it of course! I am in desperate need of new summer skirts too, so quite handy really.

Unfortunately I also made it using the roughest sewing I've done since I was 10 years old. But at least it's cute!

    Super cute! Great idea too! I love vintage fabrics but the clothes I find them on never seem to fit me... I need to get my sewing machine out!
